Vic Ramey Photo Contest

The VIC RAMEY photo contest and was created to inspire photographs to be taken to promote education, discussion and competition towards the society's objective of aquatic plant management. Photos are displayed in the banquet room at the annual conference. Photo contest submission format is as follows:
 

All entry photos must have been taken by a FAPMS member during the contest year. Photo must be 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" size with or without matte frame. Included on back of photo should be the photographer name, contact number, submittal category (natural aquatic photo or operation equipment, application method, or applicator in the field), location taken, and photograph description or title.

Prizes are ribbons for first, second, or third. Photos are judged in two categories: Aquatic scene ( any natural aquatic photo), and aquatic operations (any photo of operation equipment, application method, or applicator in the field). Photos are judged on relevancy to the category topic (40%), creativity or artistic impression (40)5, composition and arrangement (10%) and focus and sharpness (10%). Photo contest judges are selected from attending conference members
